Summer Tarot Workshops
Interested in learning about Tarot?
This summer, the library is offering two six-week workshops where we will explore the history of Tarot cards and learn how to use these mystical cards as tools for self-discovery and reflection.
The one-hour workshops will be taught by Susan Yonkers, who has 40+ years of Tarot experience. Workshops will be informational as well as interactive.
The Beginner Class
The Beginner Class will be held on Fridays at 10:30 AM on the following days: July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, and August 9.
The Beginner Class will explore what Tarot is and what Tarot isn't, the history of Tarot, and how to use these cards as a tool for self discovery, unlocking intuition, and reflection. Anyone with any level of interest in Tarot cards is welcome.
The Refresher Class
The Refresher Class will be held on Fridays at noon on the following days: July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2, and August 9.
For those with some experience with Tarot, this workshop will take a “deeper dive” into the readings and cards in an effort to build confidence in your interpretations of the Rider Waite and your favorite Tarot deck. This session will be more interactive than the Beginner Class and participants will have more time practicing readings.
