Read Around Newfound
Story Walks that bring our love of reading and the outdoors together

A partnership between the Newfound Lake Region Association, Slim Baker Foundation, the Pasquaney Garden Club, and the Minot-Sleeper Library

Join us for a brand new Story Walk Passport Program! Story Walks are installations featuring book pages displayed along a walking path, encouraging viewers to read while also enjoying fresh air, exercise, and the natural world around us. The Passport program encourages those of all ages to visit all three Story Walks in the Newfound Area: Grey Rocks Conservation Area off North Shore Road in Hebron, Slim Baker Lodge and trails at the end of New Chester Mountain Road in Bristol and in the Butterfly Garden behind our library in Bristol. Once you have visited a Story Walk, simply color in or check off the book next to the location on the Passport.
Download and print your passport here!

Once you have completed your passport, you may hold onto it as a souvenir or bring it to the Minot-Sleeper Library, 35 Pleasant St. in Bristol to show us!
