Frequently Asked Questions
Can I return my books and movies?
No. All books and movies should be kept with you and returned only when the library reopens. Can I borrow books and movies? Not at this time. To ensure the safety of our community, materials cannot be circulated. If there is something you'd like to borrow once we re-open, you can put a hold on the item by logging into your account at https://minotsleeper.nhais.bywatersolutions.com/ or call 603-744-3352 or email minotsleeperlibrary@gmail.com. Can I pick up something that is on hold or was ordered through interlibrary loan? Not at this time. We have these books and DVDs safely on hold for you at the library and will give you an opportunity to come in and pick them up once the library re-opens to the public. What if I want to borrow e-books, downloadable audiobooks, digital magazines, and streaming videos, but I don't have a library card? Easy! We can sign you up for a library card over the phone. Just give us a call at 603-744-3352 during our regular hours (Mon, Wed, Fri 10am-6pm; Tue and Thur 1-8pm; Sat 10am-2pm). We will confirm with you that you live in one of the towns in the Newfound Area School District, ask you a few other questions, and within minutes you will have access to digital materials! The Minot-Sleeper Library has a new movie group that will survey a variety of films. This is the perfect group for you if you want to: watch some fantastic films, chat about movies, or want to get to know some new people. This a very open and relaxed group. Feel free to come to all or some of the films. If interested, please come to the Library and sign up. Just like our book club books the movies will be available digitally through Kanopy and physical DVDs will be available at the Library. Family Programs and Events

All are welcome to join our book groups. We offer Third Monday Book Group that reads a variety of fiction and some nonfiction. Third Monday meets at 10am on the Third Monday of every month.
